Another great street-art project that has seen us as protagonists, together with the work of the artist David Strauzz, was the 350 sqm mural created in Prague, in the lively district of Holešovice, on the Tesla building. The occasion was the campaign #WeShareTheSameFuture, promoted by NIKE and Footshop to address the issue of environmental pollution.
We loved how David Strauzz used our paint for this beautiful and green artwork! Here are his words about working with Air is Art and the Airlite technology:
“As an Urban Contemporary Street Artist, formerly graffiti writer, I recently completed a large-scale mural utilizing Airlite paint in Prague, CZ, which was, I believe, a defining moment in my career. Simply stated, Airlite has opened a new world for me. Which is incredibly exciting at a time in our history when the state of our environment needs immediate attention!
Technically, I can now express myself in large format, with a paint that frees my conscience and enables me to focus on my artistic message. Airlite paint as a medium is a subtext, no less important, than the concept of my artwork. The colours are bright, positive and speak a language that the world can understand. Cleaning the air of toxic pollution should be a priority now and in the future.
It is my hope to continue using Airlite products, and to push their capability to therefore increase awareness. There is now a socially and environmentally responsible way as street artists to brighten our communities, and begin a dialogue to find alternatives to the status quo. From poverty stricken favelas to high-density urban centers around the world. I hope that I can share your great product to a wider audience. Thank you Airlite!” (David Strauzz)
