Lajkonik and the Wawel Dragon
A new mural was painted in Krakow, Poland, made with Airlite’s air-purifying paints. The project created by Lajkonik brand and Zooteka team addresses the smog problem in Krakow. The painting, which can be admired in the city centre on Boulevard Wołyński, absorbs as much pollution as a forest with an area of 80m². Each day, the mural will clean the air in Krakow of exhaust gases emitted by 17 cars.
The mural, designed and painted by the amazing artists Impas and Mehes, is located near Forum Przestrzenie, a special place for Krakow’s Street Art, and it shows legendary Krakow characters – Wawel Dragon and Lajkonik. The crew responsible for the concept and production was Zooteka Murals.
The combination of art, history, ecology and technology in one mural can work wonders. This mural dragon will literally fight smog every day!
