Close the Gap, Open Your Future
If you’ve strolled down in Milan in October 2021 (especially Via De Castillia), you may have been able to see a new mural made with Airlite and part of the company’s Air is Art project.
The beautiful artwork was conceived and realised by Giulio Rosk Gebbia, one of the most prolific italian street-artists of his generation. With this mural, he wants to send a strong message: we need to eliminate all the differences, the distances, the inequalities, and always strive to build a fairer society for all.
This mural was made in collaboration with Fastweb, who decided to use Airlite for this project, with the great result of about 200 square metres of forest painted on the city’s walls.
The “Close the Gap, Open your Future” mural will absorb, in the first month of life, about 9,512 g of CO2, and for all its life it will eliminate, by transforming them into inert salts, about 30.80 g of NOx per day. These 200 sqm will therefore eliminate the smog of approximately 42.8 Euro 6 petrol cars per day!
